NodariqHow to Track Who Invited Who in Discord
Discord shows how many times an invite was used, but not who joined through which one. An invite tracker fills that gap, so you can reward members who grow your server and see which links actually work.
How invite tracking works
When someone joins, a bot compares every invite's use count before and after. The one that went up is the invite they used, and its creator is the inviter. This needs the bot to have the Manage Server permission, because Discord only shows invite lists to that.
The vanity URL problem
If your server has a custom link like discord.gg/yourname, Discord doesn't say who shared it. Joins through it show as "vanity". The fix is personal invite links: each member gets their own link that's credited to them. With Nodariq, members run /invites link.
Filtering fake invites
People will game invite rewards with alt accounts. Count a join as fake when:
- the account is less than a week old,
- the member invited themselves, or
- they left within 10 minutes.
Rejoining shouldn't count twice either. Nodariq does all of this automatically.
Rewarding your best inviters
- Pick a reward role, like "Recruiter".
- Run
/invites reward invites:5 role:@Recruiter(Basic). - Announce it and point people to

Questions
Can Discord show who invited someone?
Not directly. Server Settings → Invites shows use counts per link, but not which member used which. A bot works it out at the moment they join.
Does invite tracking work for past joins?
No. Discord doesn't keep that history, so tracking starts when you add the bot.
Is invite tracking free?
Yes. Tracking, personal links and leaderboards are free with Nodariq. Reward roles need Basic.
